Individual Therapy and Nervous System Regulation
I believe that at our core, we all have an innate capacity for healing, growth, and connection. Yet the experiences of trauma, stress, loss, and the pace of modern life can pull us away from ourselves and from a felt sense of safety in our bodies. Anxiety, depression, numbness, or feeling “stuck” are not signs of something being wrong with you, but natural responses of a nervous system doing its best to protect and adapt.
I see you as the expert of your own experience. Your body holds wisdom shaped by everything you’ve lived through, and therapy is a space where that wisdom can be gently listened to and supported. Healing doesn’t happen by forcing change or fixing what’s broken, but by slowing down, turning toward yourself with curiosity and care, and allowing the body to lead the way.
I work primarily with adults and young adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and major life transitions. Many of the people I support feel disconnected from their bodies or caught in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze. Together, we focus on rebuilding a sense of safety, choice, and connection so you can move through life with more ease and vitality.
My work is grounded in Somatic Experiencing® and other body-based approaches that help us understand how your nervous system has learned to respond to stress. We’ll listen not only to thoughts and emotions, but also to sensations, impulses, and rhythms in the body. Sessions unfold gently and at your pace, supporting the release of long-held tension and the rediscovery of your innate resilience.
My approach integrates relational and attachment-based perspectives with mindfulness, movement, and humanistic-existential frameworks. Our sessions may include grounding practices, breath awareness, or subtle movement to support regulation and deepen your connection to your body’s natural wisdom.
My intention is to offer a space that feels attuned, compassionate, and supportive, where you can reconnect with yourself and cultivate a life that feels more grounded, integrated, and alive.
